Do not schedule an appointment to come for an interview unless you receive these instructions to your email for your specific case and with your case number. Appointments that are made without approval from U.S. Embassy Bangkok will be canceled.

Police Certificates
- Detailed instructions for obtaining a Thai Police Certificate are found below. These instructions are provided by the Royal Thai Police. All questions about these instructions should be sent to the Police Clearance Service Center.

Financial Documents
- Affidavit of Support
- For family-based immigrant visas, your petitioner must present evidence that neither the principal applicant nor any dependent applicants (if applicable) will become a public charge in the United States. The petitioner’s income must meet 125% of the Poverty Guidelines for immigrant visa applicants.
- IRS Tax Transcripts are available online and a tax transcript may be submitted in lieu of a tax return for the same year.
- IRS Verifications of Non-filing are available online.
