U.S. Air Force General Kevin B. Schneider, Commander of Pacific Air Forces, to visit Thailand March 27-29, 2024

U.S. Air Force General Kevin Schneider, Commander, Pacific Air Forces (PACAF), will visit Thailand March 27-29 to participate in the closing ceremony for the 30th anniversary of COPE Tiger, a trilateral air force exercise between Thailand, Singapore, and the United States.  During his visit, Gen Schneider will also meet with counterparts in the Royal Thai Air Force to discuss opportunities to advance U.S.-Thai security partnership.  This will be General Schneider’s first official visit to Thailand as PACAF Commander.  This visit is part of ongoing engagements to further shared security objectives, increase the complexity of military exercises, support Thailand’s military modernization, and advance a Free and Open Indo-Pacific.

PACAF is responsible for Air Force activities in the Indo-Pacific region, which covers roughly half the globe.  The command supports more than 46,000 Airmen serving principally throughout the Indo-Pacific.
