Cultural Programs

The Cultural Unit of the U.S. Embassy works closely with a wide range of Thai public and private organizations to encourage broader understanding of the United States and its relationship with Thailand through a variety of cultural programs.

Speaker Program

The U.S. Embassy brings a number of visiting American speakers to talk on topics and issues of mutual interest to Thai audiences. Among the topics are U.S. Foreign Policy, U.S. Economic Policy, Transnational Crime, Emerging Technology, Entrepreneurship, American Innovation, and American Society, Culture and Values. Video conferencing can also be arranged between speakers and Thai audiences.

Visual and Performing Arts Programs

From time to time, the U.S. Embassy brings American artistes to perform for Thai audiences. Among the performing arts programs are jazz, string quartets, dance and the U.S. Air Force and Navy bands.

Arts in the Embassies Program

Established by the United States Department of State in 1964, the Art in Embassies Program is a global museum that exhibits original works of art by U.S. citizens in the public rooms of approximately 180 American diplomatic residences worldwide.

Grants Programs for Thailand

The U.S. Embassy offers grants to Thai institutions, organizations and individuals to assist in organizing cultural programs and activities for Thais. These programs include cybersecurity, technology, innovation, entrepreneurship, transnational crime, and illegal immigration. Grants are subject to funding availability.
