3 MINUTE READ

The U.S. Embassy works closely with the other elements of the U.S. Mission, as well as with a wide range of Thai public and private organizations to encourage broader understanding of the United States and its relationship with Thailand through educational and cultural exchanges.

Thailand-U.S. Educational Foundation: The Thailand-United States Educational Foundation (TUSEF) administers the Fulbright Program and other exchange programs in order to promote mutual understanding between the people of the United States and Thailand. The governments of the United States and Thailand jointly finance TUSEF and its programs.

Fulbright Program: The Fulbright Program was established in the United States in 1946 and aims to strengthen understanding and communication between the United States and other nations by funding a variety of educational exchanges.
